Making a scene of decay
Scene Of Decay will be performing again on the 30th of januari after a several months long brake. The show is at Rättviksparken in Rättvik, Dalarnas län. This will be followed by more shows and the recordings of more songs. No date for estimated release is set at this point.

Editing of video
Today, after a night of laid back partying, Gum-Viktor, JC and the Davidiot visited Max at his workstation in Mora to check out the progress on the new video.
Max was doing a very good job editing the footage and everyone is excited to see the finished result.

Video has been shot!
Scene Of Decay has filmed a music video for the song Shut Down.
The shooting took place in an industrial enviroment in the nearby town Rättvik on the 29th and 30th of november. We had some severe problems during the filming, for instance nothing was filmed the first day since the power SHUT DOWN after 5 hours of setting up equiptment. The next day, 3 hours went by until the problem was finally fixed and we could begin filming. I (David) was suffering from fever due to a cold and the temperature was about 0 degrees C.
We would like to thank Max and Jocke from Mora who filmed everything and will be editing the material. This would never have worked without theese two very proffesional and helpful film makers and their equiptment. Thank you very, very much.
The estimated release for the video is sometime in februari 2009. But you just might get a chanse to see some pics or maybe a short clip before the release.

Shut Down
There is a new song available and it is called Shut Down.
We have changed a few things on this site and the whole design of our myspace. There is a short live-video and lots of funny pictures to watch if you visit it.
More changes will happen very soon, We have alot of pictures to upload on this site and another song is recorded.
Also, plans for shooting a video for Shut Down are beeing discussed but nothing is completely decided yet, more on this to come

General news/search for gigs
In general news some progress has been made. New promo pics are just about to be taken. And we will release a rather quickly recorded and not so well mixed versions of one of our new before we release the new CD. A date for the upload is not yet desided but it will be in april.

News Update
The year of 2008 is bound to be a more productive year for this band, We have sorted things out and are in the process of making new music available.
It is planned to be a full album feautering the three songs from Genesis Of Rebirth along with other more fresh material. Updates on this site will hopefully be more frequent.
We had some help from a fantastic fellow named Jonathan who added a nice spam filter in our guestbook. From now on this site will be a much more neat and tidy place. Never give in to the stupidity of man kind.

Gig confirmed and general news
Scene Of Decay will be performing at old palladium in Katrineholm - Sweden on the 21th of September.
Recordings are proggresing and alot of copys of "Genesis Of Rebirth" has been sent all around. Alot has been going on lately and we are very exited to se what will happen next.
We will do our best to update the news on this site on more regular bases from now on.

We have a new design for the website. We are very pleased with this creation made by our good friend Sanna aka Nephania. We would like to dedicate a huge THANK YOU to her for this.

New versions of the previously recorded songs : Forever Free, Die Like Before, and Blessed will be available very soon. New vocals have been recorded and a lot of mixing has been done. This means that we will very soon reveal the cover for the CD and a lot of new pictures will be viewable.

We have changed our name. From now on and forth we go by the name Scene Of Decay.

We will do our best to make 2007 a very intensive year for this band. Gigs are already planned.
One in Mora in Mars. More will come and hopefully we will travel a lot more. Recorded live videos maybe.
More songs definitely.
Our terrific drummer boy Magnus have built a fabulous studio which we surely will be
spending sometime in. It has also been decided that a new logotype will be designed very soon.
No details are decided yet.
In the end of 2006 we played a gig and Magnus couldn’t perform due the recovering
process of an operation. A friendly man named Robin helped us out. Thank you very much kind friend.
More updates will follow soon. Unless we all die unexpectedly.
